About Dr. Moody

Brian Moody D.D.S., F.A.G.D. is a Seattle native and a graduate of Inglemoor High School in Kenmore. He has a bachelor's in psychology from the University of Washington and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University.

Dr. Moody has been in private practice since 2004 and has a wealth of clinical experience. His practice is focused on treating the entire family. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Moody has kept up to date through many continuing education classes, seminars and study clubs, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. In 2020, he received his Fellowship (F.A.G.D.) from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award fewer than 7% of dentists receive.

Dr. Moody is currently licensed in Washington and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, UW Dental Alumni Association and Jet City Study Club.

Outside the office, Dr. Moody enjoys spending time with his wife Erin and their two sons. His interests also include running, biking, and gardening — and rooting on the Huskies, Mariners and Seahawks.

Meet the team

Lacy has been Dr. Moody’s dental assistant since 2016 and has 19 years of experience in the dental field. At our practice, she works to make sure that every patient receives the highest level of patient care possible throughout their consultations, procedures and recovery. She is extremely devoted to educating her patients on their individual needs.

Being the dynamic team member she is, she is also cross trained on the administrative side of our practice. She is a devoted wife and mother of two beautiful girls, a dog and a cat. In her spare time she enjoys being with family, painting and playing outdoors.

Julie has been working as a hygienist for 18 years and joined Creekside Dental in June 2020. Having lived in Bothell for many years she is extremely happy to now be working close to home and in her community.

Outside of the office, Julie spends time with her husband and two kids hiking and playing in Skykomish at their family property that has been passed down for many generations.

Randie started as a sterilization tech while still in high school in 1994, graduated from dental assisting school in 1996 and worked as a clinical assistant for 12 years before transitioning into her current role of financial coordinator. Having 26+ years of experience in the dental field has given her a well-rounded view of how a successful practice operates. She is dedicated to walking patients through the ins and outs of their insurance plans and is excited to help patients with their long-term oral health.

Outside of the office, Randie enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown children. She likes to host events, travel, and especially loves all things Disney!

Barbara has returned to bookkeeping after having been a middle school and high school math teacher for 19 years in the Snohomish School District. Although she works from home, you will occasionally see her in the office, picking up papers or checking in with the staff. Since retiring from the classroom, Barbara has enjoyed her time on the dance floor, learning to line dance, square dance, and round dance. A perfect activity for a geometry teacher!

She and her husband have raised their three children in the local area and enjoy watching their nine grandchildren grow up close by. Barbara is also Dr. Moody’s mom.

Karisa is one of our part-time hygienists and has worked for Creekside Dental since 2005. She loves her career as a dental hygienist and enjoys talking to our patients about dental care and oral hygiene. She views our patients as family and enjoys the challenge of helping to provide quality, conservative family dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Karisa has been married to her husband since 2003 and they have five kids. As a family, they love to spend their free time fishing, crabbing, shrimping and clamming.
